Grading Policy Each teacher has a different grading policy. Below is the percentage breakdown for math:
30% Math Homework 50% Test/Quiz 10% Bellwork 10% Vocabulary
Homework Expectations 1. Homework is to be turned in on time (no late work accepted). 2. ALL work MUST be shown. NO calculators unless homework assignment has one. 3. Students are responsible for making up absent work, tests, or quizzes. 4. After school detention will be given if homework is not completed.
The willingness to learn is a vital component of understanding math. Each new topic builds upon previously learned material. You must make every effort to do your part to avoid falling behind.
Classroom Rules 1. Follow directions and obey all school rules. 2. Be on time, on task and prepared with all materials EVERYDAY. 3. Respect the teacher, the classroom, other student and yourself. 4. Be responsible for your own learning. 5. Clean up after yourself.

Class Dojo!!! I am using Class Dojo this year for class management! Your child can earn points in class for participation, presenting, etc. They can use their points to buy homework passes, pencils and snacks at lunch.
