Welcome Back to School!

Hello, my name is Melissa Price. I am new at Solomon School District. I will be teaching Preschool and Special Education K-5.

I have taught Special Ed. for 23 1/2 years. I love teaching younger students and watching them learn and grow. This school year has been fun to watch my special ed. and preschool students show their enthusiasm about learning.
Preschool School /Special Education
My Preschool class started working on sounding out short vowel words and are excited about reading simple words. The students are also showing their excitement about learning basic addition with numbers 0-10.

I have seen a lot of progress with my sped. students progress as they learn concepts that are at their ability level and are working toward meeting their IEP goals.
Sped and Preschool
I enjoy creating new activities for my students to use in preschool as well as in special education. It is important to have a variety activities to help students learn and grow.
