HOMEWORK is a BIG part of grades.
I offer afterschool tutoring Monday-Thursday for those who are in need.
By the end of the week, students will:
Research, draft, revise, and complete a five-paragraph history essay, using correct essay structure, indentation, and conventions, with a final typed copy submitted by Friday.
Prepare for the Wax Museum by reading and gathering information about historically significant individuals.
Fifth Grade:
Read and analyze informational texts about the Civil Rights Movement.
Identify key events, leaders, and their impact on American history.
Fourth Grade:
Read and listen to StoryCorps narratives.
Identify themes, central ideas, and how real people’s stories help preserve history.
